Y Bwthyn Bach is 5mins from Raglan with its castle and USK (the town of flowers) with its rural life mueum. The market town of Abergavenny is 15mins, gateway to the Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains Monmouth is 15mins in the opposite direction with the Wye Valley and Chepstow to the South. Offa's Dyke path runs from Chepstow North to Raglan.

The world Heritage site at Blaenavon has the 'Big Pit' mining museum (free entry) as its centre piece. 30mins from Newport. Brecon canal is near by. The area is ideal for walking, cycling, pony treking and gliding. Motorway links are excellent-Cardiff and Bristol 45mins. Newport and the Ryder Cup 20mins

The property is accessed off the main Usk to Raglan road. At the mid point is a pub "Hall Inn" in Gwehelog. Immediatly opposite the pub turn into Ty Freeman Road and enter the following lane. After 100yards keep left at the junction. Follow lane for 1 mile. The cottage and Y Bwythyn Bach is on top of the hill.

Access is by car or taxi. parking is available immediatly along side the property. The parking and property is all on one level. Front front door/bedroom/wetroom/lounge and verandah. The wet room consists of 'walk in' shower with curtain, wc and handbasin. The kitchen/lounge has a breakfast bar the kitchen floor is ceramic tiles. The lounge is an Oak wooden floor. Heating is electric wall heaters either independantlt controlled or programmed from the hall. There is a stand alone 'wood burner' electric fire. The Verandah has decking as the floor with steps leading to ground level.
