Farmhouse, Mallards Barn, Oaklands Cottage, The Cygnet Sudio

About

Welcome to Upper Tal-y-Fan Farm, the home of Monmouthshire Holidays.

Currently we have three self catering holiday cottages. The accommodation varies from a two bedroom converted barn – Mallards Barn, a one bedroom converted stable – Oaklands Cottage and The Cygnet Studio, a bijoux self catering ground floor double bedroom studio within the main farmhouse cottage. For 2024 we intend having the addition of a Shepherd’s Hut, watch this space!

The farm is nestled in the heart of rural Monmouthshire with the Brecon Beacons to our West, Forest of Dean to our East, Cardiff to our South and Hay-on-Wye to our north, in a small village called Dingestow near to the English/Welsh Border.

Our animals and pets include rare breed pigs, occasionally some sheep, horses, a pair of resident swans and two Jack Russell’s along with a variety of other wildlife.

Your hosts Jane & Peter look forward to welcoming you for a well deserved, peaceful and relaxing break.
