Inspiration

  1. Shire Hall Monmouth
    Shire Hall is a former Court of Assizes and Quarter Sessions in the centre of Monmouth, South Wales. It is a Grade I listed, classically designed building in Agincourt Square at the top of Monnow Street.
    1. Monnow Bridge
      Monnow Bridge in Monmouth, Wales, is the only remaining mediaeval fortified river bridge in Great Britain with its gate tower still standing in place.
    2. Ancre Hill Vineyard
      A family run vineyard on south facing slopes in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside. Specialising in sparkling wine, and Pinot Noir. Please note, whilst you can still buy our wines, we no longer offer visits to the vineyard.
    3. Rockfield Music Studio
      Visit the famous recording studios on Rockfield Farm which have played host to many of the world’s biggest artists.
      1. Roundhouse on Kymin
        A charming 18th-century Round House and Naval Temple standing proudly atop a prominent hill, the Kymin and its nine acres of pleasure grounds overlooks Monmouth and the beautiful Wye Valley.
        1. Monmouth Castle
          This small volunteer-run museum, with free admission, tells the story of the Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers - the only present-day regiment to have survived from the Militia.
