Silver Circle Distillery is a craft spirits producer based in the beautiful village of Penallt, deep in the Wye Valley National Landscape near Monmouth. We are proud to be the first distillery in Monmouthshire, the foodie capital of Wales! We want to showcase the best flavours that the area has to offer to create unique handcrafted products that are synonymous with the Wye Valley.

Enjoy our award-winning gins and cocktails, relax with a bite to eat at our regular Friday food events, or enjoy a tour and make your own experience.

The main room is mainly open plan, with a seating area, bar, shop and gin school. This all shares the same area as the main production space, so at any point you can experience the different gin making processes in action, from distillation, bottling and labelling, to preparation of foraged botanicals, product development and more.

Distillery Tour & Tasting

Immerse yourself in our distillery, deep in the captivating Welsh Wye Valley with a guided distillery tour and tasting.  During this 45 minute tour you will:  See the distillery and learn how we handcraft Wye Valley Gin Sample each of our different products.  Learn about our locally foraged botanicals.  Enjoy a signature gin & tonic.  Designated drivers get a Wye Valley Gin miniature to take home as a token of thanks for their generous restraint.  Appointments outside the listed dates might be possible.

 

Make Your Own Gin

Create your own unique gin recipe, distill it and take it home with one of our Make Your Own Gin experiences.  During this 2 hour Make Your Own Gin session you will..

• Create an original gin recipe
• Distill, blend and measure your gin
• Name your gin and label your bottle
• Sample several varieties of craft gin

We’ll welcome you with a Wye Valley Gin and tonic when you arrive, before we take you on a journey through the fascinating history of gin. With the guidance of one of our distillers you'll explore a wide array of botanicals, create your own gin recipe and distill it using one of our miniature copper stills. You will then blend, measure and bottle your gin, and most importantly, name and label it yourself. You will go home with a full size (70cl) bottle of your very own gin! As part of the experience you will also have the chance to sample several varieties of craft gin.
