Inglewood House is situated in Redbrook in the stunning Wye Valley on the England / Wales border. The River Wye is directly across the road and the Royal Forest of Dean rises from the back of the garden. Situated right on the Offa's Dyke National Trail, we're perfect for walkers with a host of other walks on our doorstep.

Inglewood House is is old and quirky with a wealth of interesting features. We have open fires in some bedrooms, a circular staircase, portcullis gates and a non opening doorway halfway up the staircase.

We offer two spacious bedrooms on the first floor.

The Red Room is our premier room and has a large four poster bed along with a huge ensuite containing a bath and a double shower cubicle. It comes with extras such as port and ground coffee.

The Green Room is another large and lovely room overlooking the River Wye. It has an extremely comfortable superking size bed as well as a comfortable single bed. This room has a Satellite tv and dvd player. It has a private shower room for the exclusive use of Green Room guests but please note that it is NOT ensuite. Bath robes are provided.

The top floor has a family suite consisting of two good sized bedrooms, a large and bright shower room and hospitality station with fridge and microwave. This is a very private suite having its' own staircase and being the only rooms on this floor. It is possible to book just one of these rooms in which case the other is closed off to ensure privacy.

Bed linen is white cotton and bathrobes are provided in all rooms. Large white bath sheets are the norm. There are electric blankets on all beds and hot water bottles on request. Toiletries are of luxury hotel grade. All rooms have a flat screen television with remote controls and dvd players with a selection of films. There is free access to wifi throughout the house.

The gardens provide a lovely space for guests to sit outside with a cup of tea or a glass of wine.

For outdoor activity fans, our situation within the Wye Valley means there is canoeing, fly/river fishing, road cycling, mountain biking, golf and a host more nearby.

We're also a hub for attractions. Nearby is Clearwell Castle and caves, Go Ape, Puzzlewood (famous for Lord of the Rings and Star Wars) Goodrich Castle, a Butterfly Zoo, Hedge puzzles and mazes at Symonds Yat & horse racing at Chepstow Racecourse.

With easy access to Cardiff, we are well situated for rugby , boxing or culture fans.

Known as the food capital of Wales we are fortunate to have the Michelin star restaurant "The Whitebrook" nearby with many other fine dining establishments in the area not to mention the famous Abergavenny Food Festival within easy striking distance.

We pride ourselves on the food that we serve and as far as possible use local and organic produce. We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements with notice if possible. Our breakfasts are all cooked to order and consistently receive high praise from guests.

We can provide packed lunches for those heading out for the day or simply wishing to picnic by the river across the road.

There are two pubs with a 5 minute walk serving food. Redbrook is home to the famous "Live on the Wye" music festival and the Wye Valley River Festival.

We have achieved 5 stars on Tripadvisor and Airbnb. On we are rated as excellent.

Please call for best deals on stays of more than 2 nights.

The main part of the house dates 1738 with the oldest part being much older possibly prior to 1650. Unfortunately the design and age of the house renders it unsuitable for wheelchair access because of the number and style of steps and stairs.
