Get under the skin of the Food Capital of Wales with wine tasting at a Decanter World Wine award-winning vineyard, wild foraging on the Severn estuary or enjoying a meal at a Michelin starred restaurant. Plus there’s forest bathing overlooking the Wye Valley, visiting one of Monmouthshire’s 9 castles, enjoying some retail therapy in the market towns of Abergavenny, Chepstow and Monmouth or exploring an iconic ruin which inspired Turner and Wordsworth.
And there's lots to look forward to this autumn as Stage 5 of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men's race passes through Monmouthshire on Saturday 6th September and finishes on the legendary Tumble, and the Abergavenny Food Festival invites you to join them for a celebration of all things food on the weekend of the 20th / 21st September.
