Dare you join Ghostly Goings On and see what Caldicot Castle has in store!!!

Caldicot Castle is steeped in ghost stories and sightings. According to reports:

  • Grey Lady: Believed to be Alianore de Bohun (from the de Bohun family), her spectral figure has been seen in the castle, particularly around the gatehouse / banqueting hall.

  • Hooded Monks: Visitors and staff claim to have glimpsed brown-robed spectral monks drifting through the corridors.

  • Beggar Boy: Some have reported hearing small footsteps or seeing a ghostly child (a beggar boy) in empty parts of the castle.

  • Poltergeist Activity: There are stories of furniture moving on its own, mysterious cold spots, and sudden drops in temperature.

  • Sensation of Being Watched: Investigators and visitors often describe an oppressive or eerie feeling, especially in the main hall and staircases.
