Cooking over Fire at The Castle


Fire up your culinary know-how. This year's Abergavenny Food Festival takes place over the weekend of 17 and 18 September. Guest performers will include Thomasina Miers and Kate Humble. All tickets are being sold in advance. No walk-up on the day. Limited numbers. Booking is now live. Just go to to purchase your £12 Day Stroller Ticket (wristband) and free tickets for under 16s - but they must be accompanied by an adult.

So what does a Stroller Ticket get you? Over one hundred and fifty exhibitors across seven venues offering an unrivalled selection of the best produce and products from Wales, The Marches, and further afield. Then there's the rolling programme of talks, dems and debates. Watch top-notch chefs in action on the stage in the Victorian Market Hall, or cooking over fire in the grounds of the Castle. Drop into the Dome for some equally fiery debates with leading figures in the food world. The Festival also has some special individually ticketed events, including Drinks Theatre Tutored Tastings and the atmospheric Party at The Castle, with live bands and great eats.
