Enjoy a free guided tour with MonLife Countryside Department to help mark the 50th anniversary of the Wye Valley Walk.

On this 6.5 mile (11 km) walk you will go through Chepstow Racecourse before following part of the Wye Valley Walk along trails designed by one of the owners for early tourists in the 18th century.

After passing through the village of St. Arvans you will return to Chepstow via fields, woodland and a small section of road. Mainly flat. A few stiles. Bring your own packed lunch and a drink. Assistance dogs only please. Wear boots or stout shoes and bring waterproof clothing. There is no charge for this activity.

From the roundabout near the Chepstow Racecourse entrance on the edge of the town, take the turning signposted “Town Centre and Leisure Centre.” Turn left after 300 metres (signposted “Leisure Centre”). Follow the road around to the right and park at the far end of the Leisure Centre car park (ST 528 943). Postcode NP16 5LT.
