About

The first day of the Unibet Jumps Season Opener meeting is one of the finest Chepstow events on the horse racing calendar.

The Unibet Persian War Novices' Hurdle, the highlight of the day's racecard, has been won by horses who have gone on to be stars of racing. Paul Nicholls has trained eight winners of the race, including McFabulous, Secret Investor and Silviniaco Conti.

When you're looking for things to do in Chepstow, you can be sure of a warm welcome at one of our horse racing fixtures. So if you're wondering: "Where can I find great events near me?" Chepstow – located in a picturesque spot close to the border between Wales and England – has the answer.
