Reopening of Cadw Sites in Monmouthshire
There's great news ahead as our staffed Cadw sites (Raglan Castle, Chepstow Castle & Tintern Abbey) will all be reopening this month. To ensure the safe reopening of the sites, a new online ticketing system has been put in place (so please ensure to pre-book before visiting) and essential social distancing and hygiene measures have been implemented.
Even better news is that site entry prices have been reduced to reflect the recently announced VAT reduction, whilst tickets for Tintern Abbey will be just £5 as parts of the site will have to be closed.
On top of this, the Cadw unstaffed sites in Monmouthshire (including Grosmont Castle, Skenfrith Castle, White Castle and Caerwent Roman Town) are all open to visit and free to enter.
Please be aware tickets are selling out fast.
