Come to Chepstow this January and enjoy one of the most interesting traditions in Wales, the annual New Year Wassail and Mari Lwyd procession. It's sure to be a spectacle as different Morris groups parade their traditional Beasts and Mari's through the town alongside dancing, singing, music and good cheer. Hosted by the Widders Border Morris.

Timetable

Morris dancing kicking off the day from 12.30 in Town Centre.
Moving to Orchard in the Castle Dell at 15.30 for Wassail.
Mari Lwyd #1 at Castle Gate 16.10
Welcome English over the Old Bridge at 16.45.
Mari Lwyd #2 at Musuem door 17.15

Charge

The event is free but donations are very welcome, and programmes will be available to buy on the day.
