The Tumble (also known as The Keepers) is a cycling climb near Abergavenny which heads up The Blorenge mountain from Govilon in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. It is 5km in length with a consistent 10% incline for the first half and a total height gain of 399m.
The Tumble cycle route takes place on the B4246 road between Govilon, Monmouthshire and Blaenavon, Torfaen, with beautiful views over the Vale of Usk from the top. You'll also find Keeper's Pond at the top with a car park, walks and picnic spot. It is also part of the Blaenavon Industrial Landscape World Heritage Site, with historic landmarks such as Big Pit National Coal Museum and Blaenavon Ironworks further down the hill.
The climb has featured in multiple Tour of Britain races and is a popular climb for amateur cyclists.
