Details

Our Walking, Orienteering and Wayfaring programme covers a range of activities.

Guided Walking: Our guides will plan a route to suit your interests and ability and lead the way!

Wayfaring: An introduction to map and compass skills and a great way to learn the rudiments of navigation. It is an ideal introduction to pastimes such as hill-walking. And it's FUN!

Orienteering: A more competitive experience. Working in pairs or small teams and with an atmosphere of friendly competition you will plan your route and collect the control points to complete the circuit in the best possible time.

New for Spring 2016! - Nordic Walking
If you want to: explore the countryside on foot, at your own pace; enjoy walking for recreation; get fit without jogging or gym sessions or lose weight; then Nordic Walking is for you! Male or female, young or old, all can enjoy the benefits of this sport.
Enjoy Nordic Walking as an activity in its own right, or combine it with map and compass skills to help you become self-sufficient exploring the outdoors, combine it with our `Active Heritage` walks, or with other activities.
