This is a bit different! Since 2015, it's been created from scratch using no-dig methods & is a showcase for these techniques. It's organic, wildlife rich & constantly evolving, with copious flower beds, herb terraces, vegetable gardens, greenhouses, & it's a hedgehog hotspot in 1¾ acres. Used by Charles Dowding for no-dig courses. Far-reaching views. Steps, slopes, uneven gravel & woodchip paths.

Gardens surround an old Victorian farmhouse, with estate railings, trained fruit trees, soft fruit, unusual perennial vegetables, no-dig greenhouse, other greenhouses with potted fruit trees, large composting areas, extensive herb beds, mature fruit trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and Dahlias, plus sunflowers. Wildlife adores the garden. Lots of seating areas with lovely views. Garden also has lots of examples of no-dig weed suppressing techniques. Planned for the future is a woodland planted area, a hydrangea walk, a 12 meter long rose pergola, a wildlife pond, and new no-dig flower and veg beds.
