Gardening Event, Sat 14 Mar 2020, £3-£5

Usk Centenary Hall,
Maryport Street,
NP15 1AD

Jacqui Warren

Jack Willgoss of Wildegoose Nursery in Shropshire will describe the beauty and variety of perennial grasses and how to combine them with other plants. These have so much to offer our gardens throughout the year, whichever types of planting scheme we already prefer. In the gardens at Wildegoose Nursery, Jack and Laura Willgoss have created a backbone of different interwoven grasses growing between a succession of hardy and tender perennials, annuals and biennials which allows the garden to be different every year.

The Monmouthshire group of the Hardy Plant Society (HPS) meets in Usk as it is centrally located. Usk Centenary Hall (NP15 1AD) is at the rear of the Memorial Hall car park, opposite the prison, with free parking.

For more information, see the HPS website at www.hardy-plant.org.uk/monmouth or send an email to monmouthshirehps@gmail.com
