Both sides of the Monnow

Join MonLife Countryside on this free 5.5 mile (9km) walk in the picturesque Monnow Valley. We will follow the English side of the valley, passing the ancient church at Llanrothal to reach Tregate Bridge. We will return by following part of the “Monnow Valley Walk” to enjoy outstanding views over Skenfrith village and the Monnow Valley. 

Lots of stiles and one steep slope. Bring a packed lunch and a drink. Assistance dogs only please. Wear stout shoes or boots and bring waterproof clothing. There is no charge for this activity.

Meet in the large lay-by on the Herefordshire side of bridge over the river Monnow just outside Skenfrith village (SO 458 202). Postcode NP7 8UG.
