About
Wye Valley Chamber Music was established in 2000 to bring world-class chamber music to beautiful and intimate venues up and down the Wye Valley. The annual highlights are the Winter Festival in February and Summer Residency in July, which attract leading chamber musicians from the UK and Europe.
The Winter Festival this year celebrates the influence of composers as teachers and mentors for the generations that followed them. Each concert includes pieces from both sides of this important relationship, including one dedicated to young performers. This inspiring group of musicians come together in a residency at Treowen Manor, just outside Monmouth, performing concerts in Hereford, Monmouth and Much Marcle.
