Chepstow is a town with a rich history, from Mesolithic settlements 5000 years ago and Welsh settlements after the Romans, to a Norman stronghold and hub of Industrial activity.

The Chepstow Society will be exploring and highlighting this heritage on a series of town walks throughout Summer 2023. Member's of Chepstow's civic and historical society will lead a small group around the old heart of Chepstow, pointing out interesting scenese and aspects.

Numbers are limited. Please call or text 07786 500609 to reserve your spot.

£3 per person (cash only), to be paid at start of walk. Meet outside the Tourist Information Centre opposite the castle.

Chepstow Town MapChepstow Town Trails, ChepstowChepstow has three town trails. All start / finish at Chepstow TIC in the Castle car park, but you can pick them up at any point in the town centre. The full trail takes approximately 90 minutes. Look out for plaques of information in pavements and walls along the way.
