Mabon Feast

About

Hang Fire BBQ Street Food Circus presents an unforgettable celebration of fire cooking – a weekend of flame, flavour, and folklore festivity.

Join some of the UK’s best fire chefs for a feast with each kitchen serving small plates and a MABON dish as well as the fire kitchens there will also be a produce market, live cookery demos, natural wines and of course, incredible food cooked over open fire.

Sam & Shauna will host an exclusive 4-course fire feast under canvas, joined by guest chefs in a truly magical setting (ticketed separately). Expect live music, fires, and a warm Mabon gathering as we mark the Autumn Equinox with balance, community, and amazing Welsh produce cooked over flame.

“This will be Wales first ever Fire Food gathering and we’re really excited to be bringing together our industry friends and fire food family to feast around the fire with amazing produce and mark the turning of the Season” Sam & Shauna, Hang Fire BBQ

“To be back working with Sam & Shauna after a decade is a real treat, we’re excited to make MABON an annual fixture in the food event calendar” Matt the Hat - Street Food Circus - Creative Director

MABON Known as the ‘pagan Thanksgiving’, Mabon marks the Autumn Equinox, when day and night are equal, making it a time of balance, equality and harmony. As times move forward, we’ve often forgotten the beloved celebrations of our ancestors when seasons change. This is the perfect time of year to gather around the fire to celebrate the equinox and feast with friends.
