Join Chepstow Walkers are Welcome for 3 days of walking fun at the annual Chepstow Walking Festival, held 10th - 12th April 2026.

This very popular walking festival will be held in both Spring and Autumn this year for the first time. On the Chepstow Spring Walking Festival explore the dramatic landscapes of the Wye Valley and Monmouthshire, on the border with England, on a fantastic programme of guided walks led by friendly, expert leaders.

Tackle newly devised routes created especially for the festival,seek out TRIG points, and follow exciting themed walks covering geology, wildlife, history and hidden heritage. Expect breathtaking views, surprising discoveries and unforgettable journeys. Whether you're an experienced walker or ready for your next outdoor challenge, come and join us.

Chepstow has been accredited as a Walkers are Welcome town since 2012 and the annual walking festival organised by Chepstow Walkers are Welcome is a celebration of this.
