Details

For this Monmouthshire Countryside Service walk please wear stout shoes or boots and bring waterproof clothing. Bring your own packed lunch and a drink. Assistance dogs only please. There is no charge for this activity.

Walk Route: This walk takes you through farmland and tracks before climbing into Buckholt Wood. Enjoy breath taking views over the mountains of Abergavenny and the Black Mountains beyond. Continue down through fields following the river Monnow to return.

Access: Stiles, one long steep slope and mud.
