Caldicot Castle has stood in the heart of the Gwent Levels since Norman times, and is free to visit during the open season (April - October).
And now, there's a new way to visit. Thanks to funding from the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund we've been able to develop an interactive 'Street View' style tour of the castle. You can travel from the car park to the castle, exploring the towers, battlements, courtyard, dungeons, great hall and more.
This tour is perfect for those with accessible needs who are usually unable to access these upper levels, or those who like to see how to get from the car park to the entrance before visiting. Now everyone can visit with the confidence of knowing exactly how accessible the site is, and where they will be able to access according to their own needs.
The new 3D tour is now available on the Caldicot Castle section of Visit Monmouthshire : www.caldicotcastle.co.uk
This tour was created by 3D Property Imagery with funding from the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund.
