Llanthony Priory Hotel

There was Monmouthshire success in the 2023 Good Hotel Guide with the Bell at Skenfrith, Llanthony Priory Hotel and The Whitebrook all receiving Editor's Choice awards.

The Llanthony Priory Hotel is tucked away deep in the Black Mountains within the ruins of Llanthony Priory itself. It won its Editor's Choice Award as one of the best 'Rooms with a view', which is understandable when you're looking out onto a 12th century monument in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The Bell at Skenfrith, which the reviewers call 'delighfully at ease in its landscape', won their Editor's Choice Award as one of the best 'Pubs with Rooms'. The reviewers praised its 'smart and fresh interiors', 'comprehensive wine list' and courteous staff who are a 'credit to the owner'.

The Whitebrook (fresh off of its position in the Hardens Top 100 Restaurants list) won its Editor's Choice award as one of the best 'Restaurants-with-rooms'. The reviewers especially praised its location as "in such peaceful surroundings, a good night’s sleep is assured."

Congratulations to all the staff at these businesses for their awards.
