About
Three Mountains Luxury Retreats is set in the recently restored and refurbished Goytre Hall. We would love to welcome you to our historically interesting house, believed to have Medieval origins stretching back to the First Earl of Pembrokeshire. Goytre (meaning dwelling in the woods) is set in eight acres of grounds between the charming towns of Abergavenny and Usk, Provenance of the date of 1447 over the door is unknown but may date to the original house built for Thomas Herbert. The oldest L shaped part of the house dates to circa 1620 with later Victorian and Edwardian additions.
Enjoy our 8 acre grounds, comprising of a mixture of formal gardens, woodland, lake and orchard. The grounds too are, just like the house itself, being brought back to their full glory, There are plenty of places for you to stroll and areas to sit and relax.
