About

Llanddewi Rhydderch Baptist Chapel was built in 1827, on land donated by the Williams family.  Services have been held in the Chapel ever since. There is a history section on the Chapel website providing further information.

The building is listed and still has original wooden pews and light fittings inside. Outside there are wonderful, timeless views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. Recently, Trustees of the Chapel put together a local history display, gathering many contributions from current and past generations of the village.

Visiting - The Chapel is now open on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from 10am to 3pm, as well as a service at 10am every Sunday (and family services as shown on the Chapel website). Please contact Brenda on 07977596319 to arrange a visit outside of usual service times (10am - 11am every Sunday).

Parking - Visitors are welcome to park in the Chapel Cottage Studio car park and then walk down the lane and through the iron gates to the Chapel.
