Flagstone Open Fire

About

Flagstone Cottage is a perfect holiday cottage for two and also spacious enough for a small family. Children love the secret staircase through the wardrobe to the mezzanine.

Flagstone Cottage is on a quiet and peaceful farm near Llanthony and 10 miles from Abergavenny. You can hear the river flowing down in the valley and enjoy the starry night sky in this dark sky area.

Furnished in antique pine with original beams and flagstone floor, the cottage has charm and character. The french windows open onto the garden with spectacular views over Llanthony Valley and the Black Mountains.

Under-floor heating and the open log fire make the evenings wonderfully comfortable.

There are lovely walks from the door step into the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Nearby is Llanthony Priory where you can  enjoy  refreshments from the cellar bar in the ancient Priory ruins.
