Enjoy a ride on the Miniature Railway at the Old Station Tintern for £1.90 per person, with tickets available in the Tearooms on the day.

A wheelchair‑accessible carriage is available on weekdays and by request at weekends (standard wheelchairs only).

The train runs Tuesday–Friday from 1pm–3pm, and weekends from 11am–12pm and 1pm–3pm, weather permitting.

To enquire about using the accessible carriage on the weekend, please email oldstationtintern@monmouthshire.gov.uk.

Children under 10 must ride with an adult; under 2s ride free.

Entry to the Old Station, Tintern is free but we do ask for a parking fee which comes back to the site for essential maintenance and upgrading.

Miniature Railway £1.90 per person,

Parking is £2.20 for 3 hours or £4.40 for all day. Please note, the lower car park will be locked from 4:30pm every day.

We have two electric car charging points at the Old Station Tintern.

Parking is £2.20 for up to 3 hours and £4.40 for all day. Parking charges apply between 8.00 and 17.00, and there is no overnight parking. Free parking for motorbikes and disabled badge holders.
