About

Journey of the Shapeshifter is a circus and theatre show with live folk music, performed in Welsh, for families and audiences of all ages.

Inspired by the tale of Ceridwen and Taliesen from the Mabinogi, the showfollows the themes of transformationand metamorphosis of humansembodying animal forms. The greatermessage is that we, as animals, are partof the natural world and can liveharmoniously with nature.
Freya Sofia and company are based inthe Dyffryn Ogwen (Valley) in North-West Wales. Their work is inspired by thelocal landscape, folklore and folk music.
