About

Tintern Abbey Cottage is a picture postcard pretty 18th century stone cottage totally refurbished to the highest standards. It is directly across the road (but set back from the road and double glazed, so not noisy) from Tintern Abbey, heart of the Wye Valley, of which it has the most fantastic views.

The cottage sleeps 6 in three bedrooms,Each bedroom can be set up as a superking bed or as a pair of twins ( advance request)  There are two  bathrooms each with  dinnerplate headed shower over bath, and has attractive facilities including a whirlpool bath, woodburner, very fully equipped kitchen with range cooker, , dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, freezer , washing machine and dirier. 37" TV ,4 other TVs , superfast WiFi and Bluetooth speaker. It also has the advantage of being in walking distance of pubs and great eateries. The Michelin-starred Whitebrook and award-winning real ale pubs are close by. The Wye Valley Greenway, Wye Valley Walk , Offas Dyke and the Monmouthshire Way are virtually on the doorstep.

Several wedding venues are very local including Tintern Abbey and Tintern Old Station, St Michaels Tintern. A few minutes further is the popular St Tewdrics. .

Full Central heating to 21C is provided year round and included in the rental .Bedlinen, towels, tea towels etc are all included, beds are ready to slip into and the table laid for your  arrival. Robes are available on request.

The rear garden is fully enclosed and pets are welcome. Spare bowls and a towel are provided.

The front garden is unfenced due to the amazing Abbey view and has benches for Abbey gazing. The cottage is especially suitable for honeymoons and significant birthdays as the setting is wonderfully romantic as well as suitable for family holidays!

Outside find private off road parking for about 4 cars, garden furniture and sunshade, barbecue and  lockable cycle store. Electric car charging point .

There are outside games such as boules, and giant dominoes.
