Enjoying a quietly secluded rural location and stunning panoramic views over the Vale of Usk to the Brecon Beacons, this delightful converted barn also boasts a spacious and very comfortable beamed interior, and a games room. Perfect for family reunions and celebrations year round, it lies about 7 miles from the historic town of Monmouth. Here, as well as shops, inns, restaurants and a good range of leisure facilities including an indoor pool, cinema and theatre, the visitor can explore the Nelson Museum and hire canoes or bicycles for a traffic free trip along the the beautiful Wye Valley and its riverbank. Just a little further afield, and known as the gateway to the Brecon Beacons, is the market town of Abergavenny (12 miles) and only 3 miles away, the village of Skenfrith offers an award winning restaurant, pleasant riverside walks and a 13th century castle, one of many in the area – a visit to magnificent Raglan Castle is a must. Tintern Abbey, floral Usk and RSPB Symond’s Yat are all a short drive whilst Hereford’s impressive cathedral and Chepstow racecourse are about 20 miles distant. World class golf, fishing, canoeing, riding and excellent walking are all available locally. Shops in Monmouth 7 miles, pub serving food 3 miles.
