About

Folk on the Lawn is a folk / roots festival held in the heart of the Wye Valley, the beautiful village of Tintern.

Folk on the Lawn 2026 returns to the historic riverside setting of Abbey Mill, Tintern, from the afternoon of Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th July, bringing one of its most eclectic line ups to date. Long celebrated for its independent spirit and commitment to artistic integrity, the festival once again gathers an array of musicians, poets, comedians, writers and – for the first time this year – photographers (The festival will be graced with a talk by the world-renowned David Hurn), with the work of all reflecting the breadth and vitality of, very much, a broad church folk expression.

Taking place at Abbey Mill on the banks of the River Wye, the festival has four days of great music over three stages in the most scenic of settings.
