Bronwen Lewis comes to The Blake Theatre

About

Bronwen Lewis is a Welsh singer/songwriter who has become a TikTok sensation with her covers of hit songs in the Welsh language. She is proudly bilingual and an exceptional multi-instrumentalist.

Bronwen starred in and sang the theme song 'Bread and Roses' in the BAFTA Award Winning and Golden Globe nominated film 'Pride'! She also received international acclaim during her time on BBC's The Voice. She has recently enjoyed interviews on BBC Radio 1 with DJ Greg James and her bilingual cover of 'Friday' by Riton x Nightcrawlers was played to over 5 million listeners.

Throughout lockdown Bronwen performed more than 45 live, virtual concerts from her home studio and has generated a wonderfully supportive fanbase. Her shows have gained over half a million views since March 2020.

Bronwen has released her 2nd album 'Canvas', which she has written and co-produced with producer Lee Mason. Her original musical style sits between Country, Pop, Folk and Blues and her latest single, 'Hearts my Home', has just been released and is stirring up a storm with radio air plays and interviews with high profile DJ's.
