Trains to Abergavenny Abergavenny is served by frequent trains on the Newport to Shrewsbury Line. You can easily connect for trains to Manchester in the north and Cardiff (20 minutes away), Bristol (approx 50 minutes away) and London.
The train station is a short 10-minute walk from the centre of Abergavenny and there are plenty of taxis at the rank at the station to take you to your accommodation.
