Monmouthshire & Wales is now back in lockdown, so all of our non essential businesses have closed. We will update this message when we have more information on when we will be able to reopen. Please also check the latest Welsh Government guidance here https://gov.wales/coronavirus-regulations-guidance.
Look out for businesses with the ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry kite mark for assurance that the business is following government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and aid physical distancing.

Details
The Kings Arms is a late 16th Century coaching inn, giving a fine example of what much of Abergavenny would have looked like before formal Georgian modifications. In 1625, Charles II on his flight from defeat at Naseby stayed at the coaching inn and again much later in his flights from the Parliamentarians. In the 19th Century, a sculptor was commissioned to carve a coat of arms to commemorate the royal patronage. This is now restored over the front of building. No matter whether you are looking to enjoy a delicious dinner with friends in our restaurant, to spend a weekend in the delightful and charming surroundings of Abergavenny, or to organise a professional meeting for colleagues - with nature, beauty and fine cuisine as sources of inspiration, we can supply just what you are looking for.
