Wales is under a two-week ‘firebreak’ lockdown from 6pm on Friday 23 October until Monday 9th November. During this period we are unable to welcome visitors to the area, and certain businesses and venues, including visitor accommodation, bars, restaurants and non-essential shops will be closed.

This message will be updated at the end of the firebreak lockdown period to advise on any restrictions in place beyond the 9th November 2020.




Green Flute Cafe


Green Flute Café is right at heart of Goytre Wharf. Ideal to stop by for some tasty food and refreshing drinks.
Goytre’s canal side cafe offers both indoor and outdoor seating, a children's play area and stunning views of the historic wharf and surrounding area. Free Wi-Fi access is also available for our customers.

Great Food & Drink

Open every day except Mondays for light lunches, home made cakes and more. We serve a great variety of drinks such as tea’s, coffee and a selection of cold drinks.

Spoil yourselves with our delicious hand-made cakes, delicate pastries, freshly baked scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream and a seasonal selection of savoury items.


Here at Green Flute, we specialise in Gluten, Dairy & Egg Free baking meaning that we can make some really tasty treats, for everyone to enjoy!

If you have any specific allergies, please do let us know and we will try our best to accommodate.

Meeting room for hire

There is a meeting above the cafe that is available for hire upon request.

It is available for half day and full day bookings for up to 16 people. Food and beverages, charged separately can be provided by the cafe by arrangement. Please contact the cafe directly for more details and prices.
