Autumn walks in Monmouthshire

Monmouthshire's trees turn into a spectacle of colours in autumn, full of reds, oranges & golds. Here are five of our best autumnal walks to enjoy a bit of leaf peeping.

1. Llandogo Village walk

A 3 mile walk through the woods around the Wye Valley village of Llandogo, offering stunning views down the Wye Valley.

2. Llanover Park Health Walk

A mostly flat walk following wooded avenues and parkland around Llanover Garden, before seeing the autumnal colours of the tree-lined Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal.

5. Gray Hill, Wentwood

See the autumn colours of the ancient forest of Wentwood from both below and above on this walk that takes you through the forest, then high above on Gray Hill. The summit offers great views over the Severn Estuary & Gwent Levels.
