An archaeologist’s paradise. Tribal capital of the Silures (Venta Silurum) - impressive fourth-century walls standing up to 17 feet (5.2m) high. Excavated houses, forum-basilica and a Romano-British temple also remain.The West Gate barns area provides car parking, level access to toilet facilities and interpretation panels.
