About

Concert by the Vita String Quartet. Formed in September 2024 at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, the Vita Quartet is quickly establishing itself as an exciting new voice in the chamber music scene.

In their inaugural year, the ensemble was awarded the Bridgewood & Neitzert Chamber Music Prize, the highest chamber music accolade at RWCMD, in recognition of their outstanding ensemble skills and compelling performances. They are very grateful to receive coaching from the internationally acclaimed Carducci and Fibonacci Quartets and were selected for the Carducci Mentorship Programme for the 2025– 26 season. The quartet was recently selected for the Centre of Ensemble Excellence at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London for 2026–27, receiving a full scholarship kindly supported by Philip Carne.
