About

Calling all fans of Talking Pictures TV and good old-fashioned entertainment!

TWO DAYS OF GENUINE FUN! A VARIETY OF LOST CELLULOID ON THE BIG SCREEN! LIVE ENTERTAINMENT ON STAGE! LOST FOOTAGE OF TOM JONES!

Your jovial hosts for the whole weekend are Mike Read and Noel Cronin BEM aka TPTV’s The Footage Detectives. Chart-topping singer, Kiki Dee, heads the line-up of guests. Kiki’s hits include Amoureuse, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart and Star. She’ll be singing and talking about her amazing career. Liza Goddard is one of the country’s best-loved actresses, known for her roles in Skippy, The Brothers and Give Us a Clue. Owen Money MBE is a comedian, radio presenter, and former member of 60s band, The Bystanders. Presenter of Fortean TV and author, Reverend Lionel Fanthorpe, brings his tales of the paranormal in an exclusive appearance. West End star, Rosemary Ashe brings to life national treasure, Dora Bryan, in her show, Adorable Dora. Welsh bass-baritone, Anthony Stuart Lloyd presents his tribute to the late Queen’s favourite singer, Howard Keel, and will sing some Welsh favourites. Stefan Pejic is Tommy Cooper in an exclusive preview of Cooper! The Musical. Prepare to be amazed by award-winning magician, Mark Shortland. Comedy historian, Andre Vincent, brings fun, laughter and amazing facts. There’s music from the fabulous Lola Lamour, who transports us back in time with her renditions of classic songs from your favourite decades. Our vintage dancers, The Aston Belles, evoke the spirit of the 1920s and bring the glamour of the ballroom to the Savoy stage.

Re-live an afternoon at ‘the pictures’ with a mix of rare and lost films and shorts, all as they should be seen – on the big screen. There’s even a lost reel of Welsh superstar, Tom Jones, as well as some surprises, unseen for many years.

This is a fantastic opportunity to spend time in the company of some entertainment legends in a beautiful setting, and to meet likeminded fans of all things nostalgic.

Our events are always friendly and welcoming, and we can’t wait to see you.

If you have any kind of mobility impairment or special seating request please contact us directly.
