About

Visit Caerwent Roman Town (or Venta Silurum as it was) and meet the Romans!

Roman Centurion Tiberius Claudius Paulinus and his lady will be at the Visitor Centre at Caerwent and will be conducting tours of the Roman town.  Representing our Celtic ancestors, will be our Silurian Wise woman who will be talking about Celtic-Romano herbs on her plant stall.

Guided Tours at 11.30am & 2.30pm.

There will be craft activities for the kids and refreshments on sale.

Join us for this free event and find out what other events are planned for this year.

Please note this will take place in the Visitor Centre on Caerwent Road, near Pound Lane.

Turn into the free car park and you will see the building on the right-hand side.
