Former Archbishop of Canterbury and poet Rowan Williams will reflect on his life and work, sharing readings from his own poetry as well as pieces that have inspired them, with performance poet and podcaster Pele Cox. This uplifting event celebrates the enduring connection between poetry,
spirituality and our souls – its ability to capture everything from our deepest griefs to our greatest joys. This is a joint fundraiser for two of Monmouthshire's heritage assets - the ruin of St Mary's, Tintern and the Monmouth Savoy Theatre.
