About

The Grange Trekking Centre in The Black Mountains is a long established, family centre. We are wonderfully situated in some of the most stunning scenery, providing pony trekking and horse riding, with and without accommodation. Our accommodation, with country-style home cooking is available for those who wish to ride, go walking, cycling, or sightseeing, in this beautiful corner of the world.

Grange Trekking is wonderfully situated with instant access to one of the best mountain ranges in Wales. Breath-taking scenery with the most stunning, long-distance, panoramic views. All of this amazing countryside is made easy to reach, and totally unforgettable after an exhilarating day in the saddle.

We provide trekking and riding on prizewinning, surefooted, Welsh cobs, and pay particular attention to your individual needs and riding ability. Basic instruction and demonstrations are given before each ride and you're able to groom and tack up your own horse, giving you a chance to get to know your horse before you set out on your ride.

Enjoy either a day, half-day or hourly ride, or stay for a short break in our guest house with log fire and hearty home-cooking. We pride ourselves on the good reputation we have built over the last 67 years, and the ability to provide an excellent memorable experience where you will be personally looked after.
