This Bank Holiday Weekend in Monmouthshire

We've a wide range of events this bank holiday weekend in Monmouthshire and the weather is looking great for it. From medieval knights to WWII soldiers, our castles are taking you back in time across the May Bank Holiday period.

Caldicot Castle will be packed with British, American & German wartime vehicles & re-enactors from WWII to the 80s as Wartime Wheels returns for its third year. The Tudors will be taking over Raglan Castle for a weekend of Tudor themed fun and re-enactments, and Chepstow Castle will have fantastic medieval falconry displays and chances to handle the birds yourself.

Meanwhile, over in Tintern Abbey the medieval World's greatest knight, William Marshal, will be riding into town with his wife Isabel for the 800th anniversary of his death (he's looking good for his age...) for re-enactments, music & horse displays.

There's also chances to feed lambs at Parva Farm Vineyard, join Monmouthshire Countryside for a guided walk or go on a guided tour of Monnow Bridge.
