Congratulations to The Hardwick in Abergavenny which has yet again been ranked as the top gastropub in Wales, and one of the top 20 in the UK, in the annual Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs list. This is the 4th year in a row they've won this 'Best in Wales' accolade, which is a great testament to the delicious food on offer.
This year they're also joined by The Black Bear in Usk, a fantastic little pub in Bettws Newydd (between Usk & Abergavenny) who were ranked 3rd in Wales (48th in the UK).
It's a great achievement for both restaurants, so thank you to the staff at The Hardwick & The Black Bear for Monmouthshire's reputation as the Food Capital of Wales.
