A bit of Monmouthshire in your pocket

The new £20 note gets released today and we'll all have a bit of Monmouthshire in our pockets as the window in the bottom corner is based off of the East Window of Tintern Abbey. Turner's painting of Tintern Abbey is one of his most celebrated, so it's great to see it getting recognised.

The release also ties in well with the 250th anniversary of Gilpin's trip down the Wye Valley, which launched the Wye Tour, British Tourism, and inspired people like Turner & Wordsworth to visit.
