Ruthlin is a private riverside bolthole for two, in nine acres of meadowland by the River Monnow.
Its indulgent interiors complement the natural beauty of the gardens, grounds and valley beyond.
Guests are invited to wander, swim and spend evenings beside the fire pit on the riverbank.
A king-sized bed, a vast freestanding bath and silk-upholstered armchairs complete the sense of comfort and understated luxury.
The medieval village of Skenfrith and its castle are a mile upstream.
