Family run 17th century coaching inn nestled between the historic market towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth.

A home from home for locals and tourists alike. A welcoming base for countryside campers, dog walkers, cyclists and more. Steeped in history, sitting quietly within reaching distance of the best that Wales has to offer.

Home-from-home food

Seasonal menus sourcing meat and vegetables from local farms and suppliers wherever possible. 

Top entertainment

Live music, pub quiz, pop-up kitchens and even drag bingo. Something for everyone.

Diverse events

Our beautiful marquee holds up to 50 people with its own outdoor seating area.  Whole pub hire is available for up to 100 guests & includes full use of our beer garden, marquee, patio & field for stays or additional parking. Hosting talks, workshops, parties, small weddings and more.

Camping getaway

Available for motor homes, campervans & caravans. Stay free of charge if you’re using the pub.
