National Mills Weekend is the annual festival of the UK's milling heritage coordinated by the
Mills Section of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB).
It is the chance for everyone to explore their local windmills and watermills.
Mathern mill is a 2* listed watermill in Mathern. There is plenty to see as the mill retains much of its original Victorian Machinery. Find out how the mill worked and discover the history of the millers over three centuries.There are activities for children.
