Picturesque Piercefield is a six mile (approx 5 hour) circular walk through the beautiful Lower Wye Valley north of Chepstow. Produced by Wye Valley National Landscape, the walk takes you from the almost 1000 year old Chepstow Castle, up along the Wye Valley Walk to the historic Piercefield Estate and its picturesque viewpoints.
You'll take in stunning views of the Wye Valley and Chepstow from The Alcove, Giant's Cave, Lover's Leap and Eagle's Nest (amongst others), whilst walking in the footsteps of 18th century travellers in the birthplace of British tourism.
The walk starts at Chepstow Castle Car Park (NP16 5EY) with waymarked signposts directing.
